John Hanson: The 1st President Of The United States

The 1st President of The United States was NOT George Washington, but John Hanson, a black man. He served the country from 1781-1782 A.D. under The Articles of Confederation. George Washington became the first president of the United States under the new Constitution, which happened to be 7 presidents later; therefore Washington was the 8th President of the United States Of America. I challenge you to research more into this, because history books will not show you these things.

  1. The story of John Hanson a Black man as U.S. President is a slow dying myth. The formally attired gentleman depicted in the photograph with this article is John Hanson a former slave from Baltimore who emerged to become a Senator in the country of Liberia. The immediate evidence is in the photograph. The actual John Hanson, U.S. President in Congress Assembled of 1781 -1782, like George Washington and the several others before him were never photograph because photography was not invented nor developed until the 19th century more than 40 years after President John Hanson's death. John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the U.S. in 1825, well after George Washington was the first U.S. President to sit for a photograph. Serious seekers of truth would do well to give credit and respect to Senator John Hanson and a number of other respectable Black men for their service and accomplishments with the American Colonization Society in developing Monrovia, Liberia for freed Black American slaves.
